The Ts and Cs

Sky Booth Terms and Conditions of Hire

Contract Term

Your Sky Booth contract will commence when we receive the signed booking form and your deposit.

Your Sky Booth contract will terminate upon delivery of the services or as otherwise described in these terms.

Operational Considerations

Sky Booth services are for indoor use only.

We require a minimum floor space of two metres by four metres and a single standard electrical power socket must be within three metres and a minimum ceiling height of 2.4m.

If we deem the proposed location as operationally unsafe we reserve the right to propose an alternative location. If this is not available and/or acceptable we will deem you to have terminated the contract.

You must ensure that the venue allows reasonable access for loading and suitable parking once our equipment has been unloaded. Any charges for parking, access and loading will be at your own expense.

Rules of the Sky Booth

You must ensure all guests are made aware that photographs taken whist using the service will be made available on our website and may be shared via 3rd party social media services and otherwise released into the public domain. You are responsible for ensuring this is appropriate for your guests.

Food, drink and/or sharp objects must not be taken into the Sky Booth operating area.

Sky Booth will not tolerate any abuse or threatening behaviour to our staff/contractors or equipment. We retain the right to terminate this contract immediately in cases where our staff/contractors feel they are being abused or threatened or the equipment is in danger of being damaged.

During the event guests will be able to use the Sky Booth as often as they wish.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

You will be fully responsible for any loss or damages caused by you or your guests at the event in relation to the Sky Booth equipment or staff/contractors howsoever caused.

You are responsible for ensuring Sky Booth has access to the venue and to appropriate facilities including (without limit) and at your own expense all permits, licenses or other permissions necessary to enable us to gain access to the venue and deliver the services.

We require a non refundable deposit of £200 payable within 5 working days of making your booking.

The outstanding balance (including payment due for additional services booked subsequent to the initial booking) must be fully paid no later than 30 days prior the event date.

If you cancel the contract more than 30 days prior to your event you will not be liable to make any further payments but we will keep your deposit.

If you cancel the contract within 30 days of your event we will keep all monies paid and you will be liable to us to pay the remaining balance of any payments due.

The above does not affect your statutory rights to a “cooling off” period under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

Use of Photographs

Photographs taken whist we provide the service may be made available on our website and may be shared via 3rd party social media services and otherwise released into the public domain.

You grant Wide Sky Design a world-wide, royalty free and non-exclusive license to reproduce, modify, adapt and publish all photographs and to use these photographs for our own advertising and promotional purposes in connection with the services provided.

Limitation of Liability

Neither party shall have any liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from:

(i) the use or the inability to use the service;

(ii) data, information or services purchased or transactions entered into through or from the service;

(iii) unauthorised access or alteration of photographs, transmissions or data;

(iv) any other matter relating to the service.

Notwithstanding the above clause our liability under this contract shall be limited to the price paid by you for the services.

You agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless against any costs, claims or demands made by any third party due to our provision of the services or your violation of any rights of another arising out of your failure to comply with your obligations.
